Well, it’s almost Halloween, and with that time of year artists come out of the pumpkin patch. Yes, pumpkin carving and Jack-O-Lanterns are all the rage during October. What was once a simple art form using a butcher knife or a way to scare of evil spirits, has given way to a more sophisticated and less bloody art form: pumpkin sculpting. While there may not be a “David” in these works of art, it is hard to ignore the craftsmanship and the skill it takes to carve a pumpkin and even more so when you consider the artists have brought to life their favorite characters from Star Wars.
